Why should I choose a designer with an engineering background?
Design is more than just a beautiful image. My Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering allows me to create projects that are technically flawless. I understand load-bearing structures, complex utilities, Ukrainain and Bulgarian construction codes. This ensures that what we draw can actually be built without costly structural changes mid-way.
How do you help me stay within my budget?
Transparency is key. Thanks to my background in International Economics, I approach every project with a financial roadmap. We provide detailed estimates and sourcing lists early on. Our goal is to optimize costs without sacrificing quality, leveraging our local supplier network to get the best value for your investment.
I don’t live in Bulgaria full-time. How can I control the renovation?
We specialize in remote project management. Many of our clients are based abroad. We provide regular video reports, handle communication with Bulgarian contractors, and coordinate deliveries. With our Full Management package, you can stay in your home country while we ensure your property in Bulgaria is being realized exactly as planned.
When is the best time to involve a designer in the process?
Ideally, before you even finalize the purchase or start demolition. With our architectural and economic expertise, we can perform a “pre-purchase analysis” to see if the space meets your goals. Early involvement prevents expensive layout mistakes and ensures that the electrical and plumbing systems are optimized from day one.
How long does it take to prepare a design project?
The project timeline depends on the scope and the selected service package. On average, a complete interior design project is delivered within 8–10 weeks from project initiation and brief approval. All key milestones and timelines are clearly defined and confirmed in the contract.
What languages do you use for communication and documentation?
We are a truly international studio. We provide services and technical documentation in English, Bulgarian, Ukrainian, and Russian. This eliminates any language barriers between the property owner and the construction crew, ensuring that every technical detail is understood and executed correctly.
Do you work with local Bulgarian suppliers or international brands?
We do both. We have established strong relationships with the best Bulgarian furniture salons, showrooms, and craftsmen in Varna, Sofia, and beyond. This allows us to source high-quality materials with “designer-only” discounts, which we pass on to our clients. For specific requests, we also coordinate imports from top European brands.
Who implements the project once the design phase is completed?
Clients may choose to work with their own construction team or rely on our network of trusted contractors, experienced in executing projects according to our design documentation. While we provide detailed guidance and recommendations, responsibility for construction timelines and workmanship rests with the appointed contractors.
What if reality differs from the approved visuals?
Throughout the design process, we conduct thorough approvals, including material samples, mock-ups, and detailed reviews, to ensure clarity and confidence before execution. Once the project has been completed and formally accepted, any requested modifications are treated as additional services and can be addressed through tailored consultations or design adjustments.
Do you work with private houses? What about landscape design or pools?
Yes, we design interiors for all types of residential properties, including private houses and villas. While landscape and pool design are not part of our in-house services, we are pleased to recommend trusted specialist partners with whom we regularly collaborate.
